Topline was engaged by a client to carry out the Hot Tap activity. Before the line was shut down and the activity executed, we requested for the gas analysis, operating pressure, and operating temperature of the line.
With this, we were able to design and recommend a method in which we can hot tap into the pipeline and divert the flow into another section of the line which the client required.
In doing all of these, we ensured all the safety procedures and standards were adhered to. The line was hot tapped and looped and the gas was diverted to another pipeline. The project was executed successfully. This job was done in partnership with TD Williamson. At the tail end, we completed the job right on time without any delays. In fact, the job was completed before the scheduled time and the client gave a thumbs up for this activity.
Since completion of the project, Topline has been undertaking other hot tap activities, not just in Nigeria but also in the United Arab Emirates, where we have one of our branches. So Topline is an expert in Hot Tap activities regardless of the pipeline size. We can render this service without causing any obstruction to the client’s production. And of course, no client wants facilities to be shut down for any reason, not when the management needs this production to be able to make up for business losses. Topline always delivers on time as we have the technical personnel in house as well as the technical partners for achieving such a service.
